Sile Pastures is a diversified livestock operation raising beef, lamb, and poultry on 30 acres of acequia-irrigated pasture along the Rio Grande, between Albuquerqueand Santa Fe. In September, the Black Angus and Santa Gertrudis cattle will have returned from their summer in the Pecos Mountains. Rancher Sage Hagan will sharehow he and his wife Andrea became first-generation land stewards engaged in a regional market. Participants will walk the pastures, see an onsite poultry processing setup, and explore what it takes to stay committed to regenerative agriculture.
