About me
Heather "H" Nieto-Friga (she/her) is the founder and CEO of SupplyChange, a nationwide food systems and supply chain consultancy specializing in institutional procurement and regional food system development. Her background spans food justice and labor organizing, local government urban agriculture, nonprofit farm-to-school work, and private sector procurement at Blue Apron and Imperfect Foods. Since founding SupplyChange in 2020, she has led BIPOC and regenerative sourcing pilots with institutions including Kaiser Permanente, Google, Sodexo, Aramark, and the UC system, and has provided advisory and training support to CDFA, USDA, Healthcare Without Harm, and the Center for Good Food Purchasing. She has trained producers, food hubs, and institutions on wholesale market access and supply chain justice across the country.
