Ellen Polishuk Ellen Polishuk is a small farm consultant and business advisor. She leverages her 35 years of biological vegetable farming experience to help growers around the country to achieve more satisfaction and better profitability from their farm businesses. Her client work touches on all aspects of production, quality of life, as well as farm finances and bookkeeping. Her superpowers are puzzle solving, listening, and asking powerful questions. Ellen was one of three owners of Potomac Vegetable Farms in Northern Virginia where she grew Ecoganic produce for 7 farmers markets, a 550 member CSA and two roadside stands. Ellen is a well-known dynamic speaker. She is very down-to-earth and can make complicated topics accessible to all kinds of listeners. Ellen is a co-author of the book Start Your Farm. She lives in suburban Maryland, where she gardens like crazy.
