About me
Over the last 13 years, Joel has worked on most of the 71 mission aligned food and farm investments and loans Fair Food Network has made through the Fair Food Fund. As Director of Investments, Joel leads the team in underwriting, and structuring loans, and he leads portfolio management and the post loan support that Fair Food Network offers the borrowers. As an impact first lender that often provides subordinate financing, and does not rely on traditional credit and collateral, Fair Food Network has leaned into technical assistance, and building strong relationships with borrowers to mitigate risk. Joel also serves on the Board of Directors of Food Connects, a food hub in Vermont, on the loan committee of Foodshed Capital, and is a member of the New Hampshire Food Alliance's Network Leadership team.
