About me
Kathryn works with land trusts, nonprofits, and local governments on farmland access and conservation projects, including strategic planning, policy development, program design and real estate and financing innovation. Kathryn has served as the Director of Conservation for the Marin Agricultural Land Trust and the Executive Director of the Brentwood Agricultural Land Trust. She also served as the Director of the California's Department of Conservation Division of Land Resource Protection where she oversaw the design and implementation of California's agricultural conservation programs. Kathryn has a law degree from University of California Law San Francisco, and she practiced municipal finance and real estate law for ten years before joining BALT.
