About me
Stevie Schafenacker is an independent farm advisor who has worked with New England farmers for the past four years, providing business planning, financial literacy support, and strategic decision-making assistance to more than 60 individual farm clients. Prior to that, she coordinated farmer technical assistance programs and led workshops in the Pioneer Valley through Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA) from 2016–2022. Since 2007, Stevie has worked across multiple areas of agriculture, including urban farming in New York City and diversified farm businesses in the Northeast. Through her advising practice, she has seen a growing interest among farmers in using generative AI for business plans, management systems, and operational decision-making, while also incorporating these tools into her own consulting work.
