About me
John Tunberg serves with the New Mexico Association of Conservation Districts, where he supports and advocates for conservation districts across the state in their efforts to protect and enhance natural resources. His work centers on strengthening partnerships between local districts, state and federal agencies, and agricultural producers to advance effective, locally led conservation. With a strong understanding of New Mexico's unique land and water challenges, John works to elevate the role of conservation districts in addressing issues such as soil health, water conservation, and rangeland management. He is committed to ensuring districts have the tools, resources, and policy support needed to serve their communities.
